How Stamped works
Escrow for sponsored posts on X. The brand locks the KOL's price in USDG on Robinhood Chain, the KOL posts, and the money is released once the post has stayed up for the agreed time. If it never goes up, or comes down early, the brand gets everything back.
In one minute
- 1The brand sends an offer to any X handle: a brief, a price, how long the post must stay up. It funds the escrow in one transaction.
- 2The KOL signs in with that X account and accepts. Their wallet is bound to the deal on-chain.
- 3The KOL posts and pastes the link. Stamped checks it's theirs, it's new, and it matches the brief. The hold starts.
- 4Stamped looks at the post every 10 minutes. When the hold ends and the post is still there, the escrow pays the KOL.
For brands
Go to Send an offer. You need an X account (to sign in) and USDG on Robinhood Chain, plus a few cents of ETH for gas, in the wallet you fund from. Signing in with X gives you a wallet if you don't have one.
- Write the brief in plain words: the KOL writes the post in their voice.
- Turn what matters into checks: a link, a $cashtag, an @mention, a #hashtag, a photo or video. Those are verified automatically.
- Pick how long the post must stay up (24h, 48h, 72h, 7d) and how long they have to post (24h, 72h, 7d).
- Until the KOL accepts, you can withdraw the offer and get everything back. Once they post, you can approve early to pay them right away.
For KOLs
Sign in with X and put your rates on your profile. Share your page (/u/yourhandle): brands who open it see your rates and track record, and send offers with the money already locked.
- You never pay anything: no fee, no gas. You receive exactly the price in the offer.
- Accepting binds your payout wallet to the deal. From then on the brand can't take the money back unless the post fails.
- Keep your account public and the post up, unedited, until the hold ends. Then it's paid automatically.
The deal clock
- Not funded
- Dropped after 24 hours.
- Offer sent
- The KOL has 3 days to accept or decline. No answer: refunded.
- Accepted
- The KOL has the posting window from the offer. No valid post by then: refunded.
- Live
- Checked every 10 minutes until the hold ends, then paid after one last check.
- In dispute
- Auto-release pauses until Stamped decides.
- Expiry
- Every deal has an on-chain expiry, weeks after the hold. After it, the brand can reclaim anything still locked, without us.
What gets checked
When the KOL submits the link, and again on every look until the hold ends:
- The post is from the X account that accepted (by its permanent id, so a renamed handle can't cheat).
- It was posted after the offer was funded, and isn't already used for another deal.
- It contains every required link, $cashtag, @mention and #hashtag, and media if asked.
- It says it's an ad when the brief asks (on by default): #ad, #sponsored, #paid.
- A quote post quotes the brand's post; a regular post isn't a reply.
A post that can't be found (deleted, hidden, account private or suspended) or no longer matches the brief fails a check. Three failed checks in a row, at least 20 minutes apart, and the brand is refunded. A single glitch on X's side never fails a deal.
Fees
- Brand
- 1% of the price, on top. Refunded with the rest if the deal fails.
- KOL
- Nothing. No fee, no gas.
- Referrals
- 20% of the fee goes to whoever invited the brand (or else the KOL), paid by the escrow in the same transaction.
- Limits
- $10 to $50,000 per deal.
Rules
- Sponsored posts must be disclosed. Keep the disclosure check on unless the post is disclosed another way that X shows.
- No offers for anything illegal, no impersonation, no fake engagement, and nothing that breaks X's rules.
- Brands: don't ask for edits after the post is live; agree on the draft in the deal chat first.
- KOLs: don't delete, hide or edit the post off-brief before the hold ends, and keep your account public.
- Stamped can refuse or refund any deal that breaks these rules.
Disputes
While a post is live, either side can open a dispute from the deal page. Automatic payment stops. Stamped reads the brief, the post and the deal chat, then releases to the KOL or refunds the brand. If the deal gets close to its on-chain expiry during a dispute, the keeper pushes the expiry back so it can be settled.
The contract
PostPaidEscrow on Robinhood Chain holds every deal. Its rules, enforced on-chain: money only goes to the deal's KOL or back to its brand; the fee is capped at 5%; the brand can always cancel before acceptance and reclaim after expiry, even if Stamped pauses or disappears.Stamped's keeper can't pay anyone out less than a day after a KOL accepts (a safety delay against a stolen key), nor after a deal's expiry; the brand can pay its KOL early at any time, from the wallet it funded with. Live numbers and addresses are on Proof of escrow.
